When my Grandmother was alive she was the most amazing cook & baker. One of my favorites that she would make were waffle cookies. I loved them dearly. When my sister was home for Christmas my Dad suggested we make them. My sister did most of the work & they turned out just like I remember.

Last night was our celebration for winning the North American Ladies Junior B Gaelic Football finals. The event happened over Labor Day but we had just gotten around to the big celebration last night. The coach of the men's team (and brother to 3 teammates) owns Conor O'Neills in Ann Arbor so that was the perfect location. We had a really nice buffet style dinner followed by an awards ceremony. We also got the t-shirts & sweatshirts that we ordered. It was a mix of current & former players as well as family members of both. I'm really glad I came back to the team...it was so nice to be a part of the first Championship ever for the Detroit women's team.

I just got in this morning from a fun weekend trip to NYC. Well, I was in Yonkers most of the time. My oldest BFF lives there and I went for a visit. And by oldest I mean that I've know her since I was about 6. We grew up playing soccer together & then went to the same high school where we became inseparable. We have so much fun together. We get a little wild & crazy...
