I decided that I needed to get serious and find a training plan for the NYC marathon. I've always just kinda winged it. While it's worked for me the results have been less than stellar. I found the Hal Higdon training plans online and am doing my best to follow. It's an 18 week training plan and I started it a week early. I've tweaked it a bit since I like to run with the NRR on Tues, Thurs & Saturdays and they usually run 5-6 miles. Other than being sick and missing two runs I've done really well following the plan. I just hope I can keep it up.
